Besides, you're only 29 years old. I've got another 20 years on you. I'm nearly 50. You've still got time to find someone. I'm too old. I couldn't find someone when I was your age or younger. What do yo think my chances are at 50.

I now realise, I'm going to die a lonely old man. Nothing from now to the grave is going to change for me.

The best I can hope for is acceptance!

The first part of the book even has an element of gothic horror, and the characters live in a castle! But it's always sunny, and when it rains it's never torrential. :lol: :D

I have lived in the South my whole life,

Atlanta was one of the possible cities for me to run away to when homeless but I would have probably been killed there, I barely got off this city's streets alive. I haven't really been to Georgia other then to pass through but it can't be worse then Alabama. I think Alabama has the most backwards laws in the South. The rest are okay in my book but I would stay out of Louisiana if you want to stay alive but that may only apply to New Orleans I don't know. Tennessee is actually a pretty decent state with a pretty rough city too (Memphis).
