I should write a book titled, 'I'd Rather Be Happy Than Normal'. It would have a chapter dedicated to each thing that makes me unique.

That is totally understandable as often I find it hard to write out long, lengthy emails to people.

Overshadowed by the meaningless stuff.
Overlooked those that might mattered more.

... Can I say that whatever the media says about my current country is the former, and everything else at the latter?

Why oh why people around me reminds me more of miserable types of aspies that are being thrown in a pack of borderline-psychos and narcissists? Even though I'm very aware that humans are usually cruel to begin with.
And so the cost of being a witness had come to me. Ah, well, still.

It has been four years since I first started working on my book, yet the two main characters [relatively speaking] have barely changed at all [apart from one of them having an in-universe gender change]. They are still those two young elves, dancing in the moonlight, being love. :) It almost feels poignant to me.

Y'know, I feel the same way about the two couples from my many, many Pokemon fanfics. Theres Ash and Rachel (you know, the cute little blondie with the shiny Eevee and the Ash Ketchum) and the other two. Looking back on the pretty much ancient stories from 2012 I freaking sucked back then, but It makes me feel kinda nostalgic to think that I still write stuff for AshxRachel and CalemxLaura, and how in love they still are with each other.

Y'know, that's funny, 'cause I'm taking an old story I wrote-- wayy back when, when I was in eighth grade-- holy crap has it really been that long? 8O

Y'know it's funny seeing what my imagination was like when I was thirteen, and how my whole universe hasn't changed at all.

Recently I took one of my old characters and started writing about him again-- writing about him, which is really strange because I've only ever drawn him as a comic. It's interesting being able to explore them in literary form. You learn things about your characters that you never really thought about before.

Very cool experience, very invigorating. :D I lost that comic a long time ago and it feels nice to finally re-create it.

Hm, have I said anything about Rachel? She's really shy, in contrast to my/Laura's cheerfulness and bubblyness. Her two triplet sisters, Brittany (the popular alpha girl) and Olivia (the passive agressive tomboy) are always hitting her and being ridiculously mean to her. Eventually, she becomes the Falton Pokemon Showcase queen, and Ash eventually convinced her to stand up to her sisters. Come to find out, they were working with Giritina, and thats why they were so mean. Both her and Ash went to the Distortion World, and since Giritina diddnt battle for some reason, they had a tag battle against Brittany and Olivia. They won, and a few years later, they got married and had a daughter named Ami.

Oh, and did I mention, Laura wasn't my first Pokemon OC, she's from 2013, and Rachel is from 2012. When I first found out about Clemont abd Bonnie, with that blonde hair and those sapphire blue eyes, theres no way they wern't related. She was also Ash's childhood next door neighbor and Serena's preforming rival when she was going through Falton.

^You could make a big collection of Pokemon fanfiction and make a thread for it. 8)

They're all really not that good. Whenever I'm writing them, I wot fangirl so much that I would have to take breaks to run back and forth, but when I finish them, I would realize that its all just really silly. I mean, why wouldnt Giritina battle, instead of letting mortals who just happened to have sold their souls to him battle the two that threatened to take whatever he was doing down? Theres no good reason. Heck, looking back, what was Giritina trying to do anyway?

^Giratina is a freaking centipede monster dragon ghost! Who knows what goes on in its mind?! You're doing great, Midnightstar, honestly! I actually feel like my stories are terrible and that no one will read them, but is that going to stop me from writing or even trying to publish them one day? It certainly won't! You go, girl! :D

I've always considered that all legendary Pokemon [but especially Giratina] have peculiar forms of morality.

That must be really awesome to have beauty where you live, especially since you're an artist, Froya. :) Please forgive me for this question, because as a blind person, I know nothing of visual art. Why can't you draw in color?

I find deep discussions meaningful because I enjoy when I can understand people and be understood on a deeper level. My work is meaningful when I think of how it affects others, and I also get satisfaction from the writing process itself.

When I'm by myself, I feel understood when I listen to music that really resonates with me. Also, I find that learning can be meaningful. Even sci-fi can be meaningful when it makes me think deeply about real issues.
Yes, there are some possibilities to draw with colours. I've tried all of them, and either the colors don't blend good enough, or there is shortcomings in regards of the details I can draw.

It's good that you experience meaning in life, that is very important. I have certainly noticed that you give a lot to others here on wp :) I know some people can find meaning in giving to others. If we all where like that, the world would probably be a better place.

Yes, It can be a great comfort at times, to find music that one can identify with. It gives the feeling that there are others that experience exactly the same as you.
