dcj, the reason cigarettes can give you (my parents' smoking gave my sister several) ear infections is because of the eustachian tube. it connects the throat to the middle ear. its purpose is to allow pressure to equalize between the atmosphere and the middle ear. chewing gum on a plane allows it to open and equilibrate things. i can actually use it to "pop" (that's the sound it makes when i do it) my ears.

What about the bronchitis?

I have all of the symptoms from mayoclinic

Cough
Production of mucus
Fatigue
Shortness of breath
Slight fever and chills
Chest discomfort

Chest pain feels like my lungs after using a water pipe for several days. Its been like that lately but I haven't been smoking but did a few weeks back when I posting about it.

What can I do if this is the problem?

For the ears or the bronchitis?

Also I don't know why but I get a very very uneasy feeling when I am out of bounds in a video game. I have no idea why, it just doesn't compute to me. I know how games work but I just start imagining what real life would look like viewing the world from a solid point. I know its weird, its just some kinda of autistic thing, it has bugged me my whole life to the point I would quickly exit bugged games as a teen.

Such a strange phobia,

What do you mean by this? Out of bounds? A solid point?

Out of bounds is being in an area that is outside what the game was designed for. If you ever played a game that has an invisible wall you begin to see what I mean. When you get out of bounds which could be a solid object in a game you only see the textures that are facing the world that is meant to be seen. The reason for this is it would take more resources to render both sides, it leads to some interesting scenery and some times it makes me feel uneasy, I have no idea why.

I still don't understand this visual concept. How is the wall invisible? How can you see only one side?

I don't have vision, and I've never seen before. When I play audio games, if you hit a wall, you get feedback and have to turn back. You can't go out of bounds. If it's supposed to be an open environment, then I think they'd just recycle the environment you've already experienced so you can't go out of bounds. :?

drink plenty of fluids. rest. (nyquil and dayquil - generic is fine -help me rest when i have congestion.) if symptoms last for more than a few days or if the stuff you cough up is green, an antibiotic could help. i know you don't want to see a doc. can you get something like erythromycin or zpac from your weed source? that is, if you're not allergic to it.

Well actually I see my PCP for a diabetes test Tuesday so I guess it'll go that way. If its still a problem, I'll try and get antibiotics then. I know of a lot of black market trade but I am not totally numb to logic. There would be little point to do that if I could get insurance to pay for it. I hope I am not sick that long, this sucks.

I hope Tea isn't too bad of a drink cause that is all I have that is any good.

tea is great. people who drink tea tend to live longer and have fewer strokes and less cancer.

It's cool being an Aspie like me. You can watch the same movie (or listen to the same song) over and over again (as long as you like it) and never get sick of it.

Well I know I have my go to media,

Gaming seem to hit a spot with me but I can think of some movies and songs I can do over again too.

Reservoir Dogs anyone? That movie is awesome.

I went from wide awake to exhausted in about a minute.

I do that a lot.

You'd be surprised at how much a short nap can do to bring back one's energy. :D

If I may ask, is there a particular reason why you are feeling particularly tired?

Datab4: the character is wandering the graphical black 'void' that exists out of video game bounds. If you can imagine video games as a planet with coding embedded in the planet to prevent graphical glitches or programming oversights, and by hacking, the people on the video game planet can go beyond the boundaries and wander in the empty void that is outer space. Does that help at all?

That's a good analogy. I have no idea what that would be like though. It makes sense that you can't enter this mysterious state without hacking. :)
