How is non-existence before you were born any different to not existing after you die?

That fact that I didn't exist before I was born makes it even scarier. I have no memory of any past before then, meaning that even if my consciousness does become part of another living thing, I won't remember it, I won't know at all, I'll have to start all over again, and that's only if that is actually thing that happens.

Seriously, I have no grievances with my life now or what it will be once I'm physically non-functioning as such does not bother me.
