Roast chicken with home-grown silver beet, home-grown beetroot, and home-grown paw paw for dessert.

A bowlful of cherries.

That's what I had for a snack last night! I want to eat as many as I can while the WA cherries are in season. I splurged and got a bag of the gold ones last week. They taste markedly better than anything I got in Texas.

A cheese and chili tamale.
There's a tamale stand at our Saturday farmer's market.
I was never big on tamales, until I tried one of these, and they are exceptional.

Hey Kitty: do you remember Kitty Carlisle from "To Tell The Truth?"

I just had some pretzels and a little diet soda--after walking 3.66 miles.

Shrimp patty from the neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant. It consisted of a patty of minced shrimp, probably with egg and some breadcrumbs to hold it together, wrapped in flaky pastry and fried. They served it with whole lettuce leaves, sliced cucumber and mung bean sprouts, and the sauce with fish sauce, so I gathered that I needed to wrap up the pieces of shrimp patty with vegetables and sauce in the lettuce leaves. It was freaking delicious.

I had ham and Gouda on this chia seed bread. That was a while ago; I've lost all appetite, though, now... maybe anxiety... usually is.
