I think I'm going to try and "free" myself somewhat from this place. I spend too much time just refreshing the page and waiting for new posts. I'm restless, and I think I should at least try and do something else. I don't know what I will do when I don't have the apartment projekt anymore, as most of my time not spent here is spent either thinking about it or working with it. Today I'm going to make two sketches of the aparment one small and one "big", they are going to be used in the planning of where to put the furniture and so on. On monday I will take measures.

I was being somewhat vague in response rather, it's what is known as "fiskeboller" soup something Froya would possibly know of as, it happens to be of a Nordic-relating to Norway.

I'm not sure what you mean really, as I think of "fiskeboller" as used for dinner. But maybe If they are small, or cut into smaller pieces they can be used in soup... This is a dish with "fiskeboller":

Yes, that is what I was referring to Froya

If you mention them here, you might find someone else who uses them too.

I know this may not be the exact thread for the following but, thought it was relevant regardless. Disclaimer I shall be including a lengthy idea as to the comprehensive range of interests I've had over the years including photos & YouTube clips to provide a better description and idea of such. Well, let's begin shall we.
During my early childhood along with my elder brother & sister myself being the youngest we all three had fascination for mythical & folklore related areas including the following book which, I always was taken up with

Image

During this time period I remember reading various stories about goblins, dwarves, elves, pixies, etc. In fact, I remember often placing acorns at the bottom of this tall, ancient Oak tree in our backyard with the belief that the faeries would accept the donation, rather it was the local squirrel population that took such gatherings.
Moving along I eventually developed a fascination for toys, mainly action figures including the following but, not limited to such though.

Transformers-Image

G.I. Joe-Image

He-Man & the masters of the universe-Image

Lastly ljn's WWF wrestling figures-Image

As time progressed and I went from little kid to teenager I eventually developed a liking for fictional media including the following though not entirely limited though.
science fiction & fantasy books and films-Image

Horror & Martial Arts films & books-

And lastly as time moved onwards I took up interest with video games, Godzilla, Comics

Now not all of my interests & fascinations related to fictional items rather, I also have liking of subjects as diverse as history & science to art & theology and everything else between.

I don't know how else to describe the many things that I've had wonderment of over the many years from a little kid to adult.

your most welcome to comment.

Back when I was a little kid, the only two channels I was allowed to watch was PBS kids and Boomerang, so as young as I am, I looovvved He-Man and a bunch of other old cartoons from before my time. Oh, and I know LJN! They're that one video game company!

Oh, and you already know how much I love Fairies and mythology! I still have a book from when I was little thay says it was written by none other than Wendy Darling.

Well, that means you have an innate passion for mystical things shall we say, which is a good thing.

^Thank you for sharing this kazanscube :) I feel like I know you a little better, or at least know more about you. It does make me suspect that you are some years younger then me, as Transformers did not exist when I was a child

I am in complete amazement that there is a bear hunting season in the county I live in (SE VA)

P.S. I am a vegetarian and I don't hunt.

I think hunting is much better then keeping animals in captivity, where they suffer and do not get the oppertunity to live out there natural instinct, before we kill and eat them. The animals killed during hunting has at least had a free life before they die.

If I may use a Japanese proverb here, in ancient times Bears were the equal of men, in that both recognize the status and importance of both and acted honorably towards each other.
In this day and age some people seem to think that just cause we're at the proverbial top of the food chain that everything else is to bow down before us and be nothing more than fodder for our barbarism

If people killed each other at the same rate as people killed animals, we'd be extinct in 17 days.
