Heh. :D In the not-too-distant future, I will have a pic of her up. :)

(As an aside, I named her after a character from an anime, the anime in question being Soul Eater, and the character the titular character of said series, Soul Evans.)

I made it in and out of the DMV in less than thirty minutes and was told I would get my ID card in the mail in about a week from now. The temporary I was given until then has the picture that was taken, and it's actually a good picture... which is quite a bonus since I'll have the card for the next eight years possibly.

I met up with a group of friends. We chatted, and the conversation was good.

We can either try to "fit in" with the rest of society, or we can be so egocentric that we can't be bothered.
I choose the actor. I observe NT's. I listen to their socializing. I practice it, so in social situations I can just emulate/mimic what is expected.
It isn't natural for me, but it enables me to "fit in".
It is VERY tiring and draining, but at least we can appear like them even though it is an act. Like being on the stage.
They can't see it is emulation, and so we are accepted.

I saw my doctor this afternoon. She increased my Risperdal. Maybe I won't feel so down in the dumps anymore.

<--- Also thought the cat, Soul, was named after the Korean car, Kia Soul because, well, her master is Korean. No?
