Here's a forgotten 80s song: Pretty Poison's "Catch Me (I'm Falling)".

Now I really want to know what keys Dave Stewart was typing on that homebrew computer keyboard. Was it random? Was it some hidden message? There was no way to tell back in the day...

Okay, he had many songs in the 80's but this one captured what it was like to see Eddie in concert. Mostly because I don't think I've seen him anywhere but the country fair. He has played here nearly every year or two since the mid-80's.

And speaking of the county fair, this one seemed to be everywhere the summer of '82 or '83. Including every carnival midway.

I didn't expect to survive the 80's btw - it was a hell of a party.

Oh, The Cure. I remember the birth of Goth. It was beautiful.

Regarding 80's Van Halen, not so long ago I heard "hot for teacher" for the first time in maybe 20 years. And as the beginning drum solo played on our local classic rock station, I immediately recognized the audio pattern - it's the firing pattern of a v8. The things you realize decades later...

Taylor Dayne was one of those singers I never appreciated back in the day. Now I do. :-)

Here's another one that was just in the background (for me anyway), but still epitomizes the era:

Yes, I love Taylor Dayne's late 80s music! She is from New England, US, if I'm not mistaking.

It does not matter whether it is pop, dance, metal, rock, or classical music performances, it is just much better when it comes from the 80s.

Here a 80s video clip from a top-notch Canadian rock band, the music is awesome! 8)
