Usually yes but in the past week until yesterday Arthur sucked up all the moisture that would have been involved in the afternoon storms and only south Florida has had measurable rain. Rainfall in Florida is while seemingly with little change on climate maps is actually extremely random, you could be getting nothing and just a few blocks away someone else is getting a miniature hurricane.

First time I seen rain this year, really needed it. Glad it happened on the eve of the Fourth with all the fireworks people will be setting off, don't want anybody starting anything fires. Should be about 100 maybe less today I would imagine.

It's been cloudy with low clouds for the past 4 hours 75F. Storms developed all over the peninsula today. One cluster in particular can't make up it's mind on where to go. It developed on the west coast, went east south of me then turned north, then turned back west and now they have turned back south and are about to go over me.
