Damn...

That is not even cool bro :ncool:

A tech friend of mine told someone their computer needed more power and told them to switch from 120v to 240v on the PSU back when they had a switch, obviously blew up.

Time to get a 1200w PSU... Like my computer has :) Corsair 1200w

When I build computers, I build them well!

I wonder if I switched mine to 120 volts, would it run half as fast? LOL

And what ever is in my Thinkpad. I really only have three computers since I discovered that I am computer hoarder. I found the road to recovery on my own lol

There is another that I am just using a big network drive but I am getting rid of it too.

So I had to run some more errands today with mom. I was wearing a t-shirt with Strawberry Shortcake on it and butterfly hairclips (you know, the sparkly pastel ones from the 90's). Aaaand I saw my BFF from school today. Sure, I haven't seen this girl in four years. But when I was friends with her, I diddn't like video games or anime yet, I was still in the normal 6th grade, and I wanted to be one of those fashionable and popular girls who wouldn't leave the house unless every inch of them was perfect... so, so badly. This girl saw how I went out of my way to look cute (you know, with the cute anime/cartoon/video game shirts and pastel colors and pigtails) instead of the way she had taught me to dress and act and... well, be, and got really ticked, especcially since I let my hair grow out. She ended up making fun of me and I couldn't say anything back since she was so perfect, so I was just standing there after she gave me an earfull. I wasn't crying or anything, but that's because I was in public. Needless to say, this low life (I mean perfect!) former friend of mine ruined my entire day. :(

^I wish I could help you more. I have been trying too hard to help you.

http://www.newliving.com/issues/jan_07/articles/eckharttolle.html

“Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.”

“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.”

“Give up defining yourself - to yourself or to others. You won't die. You will come to life. And don't be concerned with how others define you. When they define you, they are limiting themselves, so it's their problem. Whenever you interact with people, don't be there primarily as a function or a role, but as the field of conscious Presence. You can only lose something that you have, but you cannot lose something that you are.”

“Life isn't as serious as the mind makes it out to be.”

“To love is to recognize yourself in another.”

“Time isn’t precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you perceive as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now. That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on time—past and future—the more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is.”

[various quotations from Eckhart Tolle]

^^I'm not worried. I'm just tired for a reason that is mainly my own fault.
If I may, I would like to share something with you. It is spiritual, so you might not like it, but it has amazing lessons to teach, so if you want to read it, I will pm it to you.

Maybe I haven't been open lately, maybe that is the explanation or at least some of it. I think I can be open now and then, but not all the time.

No one probably understood any of that, but I do 8)

One of my future neighbours came on my door yesterday and expressed frustration for the noise I make when I use the sanding machine. At the same time she also expressed total understanding for the fact that I have to renovate the apartment.. I expressed understandig for her frustration, not much else I could do. It did irritate me a little though, because I felt a little stress afterwards, and as the hours went on I wondered should I do the rest on Friday when this neighbor was at work, or finish it right there like I wanted to. So I finished it

Sometimes meltdowns can be kind of cathartic.

^Meltdowns can also be completely draining and exhausting, as is the case for me.

I've been so exhausted this week that I've barely cried at all. I didn't even go to my second class today. I just couldn't make myself go [plus I was starving from not eating breakfast because I slept in late].
