Michael Winslow is known to be able to replicate almost any sound(s) he hears.

I'll be embarrassing honest as, I used to make sound effects as a child though, parents tended to think I was doing something weird and not socially acceptable therefore, I rarely made sound effects in a social outing.
To this day, I sometimes make sound effects whenever I watch a tv show or movie as, if it was part of the TV program or movie.

the only sound fx I've been known to make since childhood, are a combo whistling/humming sound that I can't really describe too much, a faux-flatulence noise made by putting palm of hand against corner of mouth and blowing, an exaggerated R trill that I took the R sound out of so it is just a tongue-vibration noise, and a suction-stoppage noise that sounds like the piston was violently yanked out of the barrel of a hypodermic syringe.

The funny thing I recall doing once soundfx wise was when I went to get some items at the local chemist- what most people refer to as convenient stores or quickie marts, anyways as the cashier was ringing me and run my debit card, waiting for it to be processed, I created a beeping noise with my mouth closed. The cashier immediately thought it was something to do with the pos system-credit card reader and could not figure out what that weird noise meant nor indicated, never less my transaction went through and on my way out I said, "Technology can be a great think but, when there are glitches its crap" I said that with a straight face but, laughed on my way home.

since i have perfect pitch i'll sometimes imitate the exact pitch if not exactly the timbre of a sound effect i hear while i'm at the cashier's, and sometimes the cashier will look around wondering where that sound came from. I wonder if Winslow has perfect pitch also?

From what I've read about Michael Winslow
according to his own account, he had few constant friends to call on. In order to pass his time, he would imitate the sounds of engines, animals, anything that made noise

That's hilarious. :D He's very talented. I can only imagine how he must've driven his parents crazy though LOL.

I've tried my hand at sound effects but nothing like this guy. The phone ringing or random sounds of technology, that's about it LOL.

Yes, I can see how he used that gift to help him deal with social awkwardness and lack of friends. Honestly, I never did sound effects around other people than my own family.

From an honest standpoint yes, though 2 failed marriages yet, I give him a great deal of hope to make it in life.
