I do okay in some regards, even if It might appear I do great here on wrongplanet, it's not so easy for me to replicate my success in the normal nt world though.

I know how that goes, as they say "join the club."

Me too. I don't have any friends, apart from my "paid" friend (gets a small amount of money from the government, to spend some time with me)

I'll be very straightforward & sincere tend to be here on wrongplanet despite not knowing what one looks like that's okay, as appearances mean little to me as is/was/ or ever would be.

Yeah, something like that. We meet every other week, and spend three hours together. We do things like: fishing, mushroom gathering, going for walks, errands in the city, go to restaurants, and make dinner at my place. I actually have the option to be with her every week, so the gov most think I need more social life :P

My friend lives 50 minutes out of town in a place you can only access with a 4WD vehicle.
After wet weather like we've had you can't access it at all.

^^I just wanted to add, that this "job" doesn't pay much money. It's something in between voluntering and a "job". The effect of this, is that the quality of the people who does this job is not the best. I've been very lucky with Anne. The first one I tried out had almost as much psychological problems as me. On the other hand I guess you don't want people who are doing it for the money either...

I don't know. I don't think you can make a living of it. I have'nt asked Anne, I don't think I want to know. Anne only has me as a "client", apart from that she also has a full time job.

if such a social services job were available here and paid minimum wage with health benefits, i'd do it in a heartbeat.

I borrowed a book called The Memory Illusion.
It's about how dodgy the human memory is and how easily false memories can be implanted by suggestion and a little imagination.

It's made me doubt everything about my past.
Did it really happen?
Or did I imagine it?
Maybe I half imagined it?

Thank you, author of that book
