when I write characters, I can often imagine their voices in my head, but you know what's interesting about voices? You really can't describe to anyone exactly how someone sounds. You can give some general characteristics but that doesn't even come close.

Kazanscube, I'm sick of sequels too. :)

Auntblabby, how about a small vacuum, like the slider vac?

Oh, the sequels. :x

My mom's favorite show as a little kid was Scooby Doo, but you wanna know how many sequel series it's had? Ninety-freakin'-six. She doesn't watch it anymore 'cause she says 'they just can't get the characters right anymore.'

That is way too many as the original version of Scooby Doo was first aired in 1969, for I remember it but, with too many sequels it becomes stupid.

Just got an e-mail that the CEO wants to have lunch with a half dozen people in our department to chat.

Do you consider it a treat or a chore to go to these type of things? I would much rather have my apple a day with a good book.

^^lunch with the CEO? That could definitely get you some respect, for sure. Good luck.

^^^A portable, cordless, lightweight vacuum cleaner. Similar products might also be called broom vacuums or stick vacuums. They're less sturdy and durable than the real thing but much easier to use.

it would depend upon whether the CEO was one of the very rare sweethearts, or a more typical brasshole.

I interact with the CEO and CFO all the time, so not a big deal.
