I don't really understand why you can't talk to me now I'm grown up and don't want anything from you sometimes I'm scared you'll die before we get the chance to speak again. Will you walk me down the aisle would you recognise me if you saw me now? I forgive you and I want you to meet your grandson.

I don't know why you take yourself so seriously, but I wish you would stop. You're just not that interesting, so give it up and get a life.

Stay in touch when you can. Just an occasional acknowledgement means the world. I branch out where I can, but you have seeped into the roots.

You really made my school experience more enjoyable by trying to understand me and accepting me for who I am. I really hope that I contributed something to your experience as well.

Please reimburse me. If you cared that much about the money in my bank account, you would've payed me back by now.

Another new receptionist after the "new" one quit. And as expected they're female (apparently males can't answer phones) and not a genuine jobseeker (they already had a full time job and were poached from elsewhere). There would have been a pool of dozens of potential candidates who needed that job more than her.

Seriously, am I the only person this firm has ever rescued from the unemployment queue? (and that only happened because I bombarded your PO box)

Gee it must be great to be able to chop and change jobs and never end up on Newstart in between. If only I could be so lucky. I may have been here for 10 loyal years but I'm not loyal by choice, I can tell you that.

Dear You,

Every time we meet, you ask for my help; from carrying a package, to delivering a message, to giving you a ride, to paying your rent. But when have you ever been willing to help me? Every time I ask for your help, you don't have the time, or you're tired, or you're not feeling well, or you have to meet a friend, or anything to keep you from returning any of those 'favors' and 'loans' you keep asking for.

I just wanted to know that before I stop saying 'yes' to your requests, I am going to tell every one of our mutual acquaintances exactly what kind of person you are - a financial and social deadbeat. Then I will cut you off. From that point on, I am no longer doing any 'favors' for you. If you ask why, I will remind you that you still owe me the money I loaned you from last year. Not that it is going to break me financially, but that it might finally give you an inkling of why everyone else is going to be turning you away as well.

Come to think of it, I seem to be the only person you come to when you need a 'favor' - could it be that they already know? Do you already know that they know? Honestly, I hate being unaware of exploitation almost as much as the exploitation itself.

Ah well, live and learn ...
