Could it be that you own more than 49 Bronte works?
Sorry, my computer keeps freezing

No. I just counted and after receiving two more books this week, I have 49.
My lie is #4. Wuthering Heights isn't a romance. It's a violent, savage tale about the destruction of obsessive love. Regardless, it's my favourite novel in all of English literature. I love the narrative structure and complex literary technique.
Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1847): "Wuthering Heights is a fiend of a book – an incredible monster. The action is laid in hell"
Graham's Magazine (1848): "How a human being could have attempted such a book as the present without committing suicide before he had finished a dozen chapters, is a mystery. It is a compound of vulgar depravity and unnatural horrors".
It's a shame that Hollywood insisted on marketing this classic horror story into a romance. No wonder young women are confused about how relationships should be felt, expressed or experienced. It's more a novel about narcissism and infatuation than love.
Still, 10 thumbs up.
