People, especially comedians, who use the word "chicks" constantly as though that makes their awful, sexist jokes funny.

It really is about the music and lyrics for us music fans.

Why not just earn the STEM degrees in the first place?

If I give money to charity, it goes to charities helping starving children or homeless people or bereaved children. Not animal charities. I'm actually pretty shocked how much money animal charities get as opposed to human charities.

But apparently this makes me a horrible person because I'm not an animal lover but prefer helping people. I've been told this many times point blank. WTF.

Animal lovers who are attacking & blaming others for helping people 1st end up alienating potential allies.

^^Yes, this is what I mean. I get told I'm an awful person for not prioritising animals and obsessing over them. I just think they're 'okay', I'm not that interested, that's all. It doesn't mean I go out killing animals left, right and centre. I eat animals but I don't kill them for no reason like those bounty hunters do.

In Britain I feel like there's a heck of a lot more people who love and support animals than people so I reckon animals are living fine.

I used to work for an animal charity FFS too. I met plenty of extremists who would actually kill humans to save animals. I cannot support that view. I left that job because I lost interest, and started working with disabled children! How that makes me a bad person, I don't know

Some of us aren't good at STEM. I've never been good with numbers. Yet I was aware that in order to even have a chance of being hired; I needed a degree. So I gained a BA in design. Now I'm a graphic designer. Sure, I'm no doctor, but quite frankly you wouldn't want someone like me in that position.

However, I do agree that I don't understand why someone would take a women's study or gender study class, except maybe if they were a therapist using the class as a top up to develop on preexisting knowledge. The truly rich may even take classes for the pure fun of it perhaps.

How many people get a women's studies degree for that purpose exclusively or explicitly?

Thank you it was the best job of my life! I LOVED it. I only gave it up when my own daughter became very ill and I wanted to look after her.

I'm not rich so I take free courses whenever I can, it keeps my brain active, which is very much needed
