yesterday i suddenly developed a short term interest in indian railway stations with very long names, and i found a station called "venkatanarasimharajuvaripeta", and i practised how to pronounce it, and before long, i was thinking of it and saying it over and over because i liked the oral dance that i had to perform in order to pronounce it like an indian would.

today i had a pimply teenager knock on my door with a clip board in his hand trying to sell me a ventilation whatever for my ceiling, and i was not interested in his product, but i told him i was interested, and i spoke to him for quite a while in an enthusiastic manner about mould and mildew, and when he asked me what my name was in order to fill in his form (which i anticipated with excitement), i told him my name is "wally venkatanarasimharajuvaripeta" and he looked incredulously at me, but i can joke with a very straight face, and i do not let any indication that i am joking appear to anyone who is a player in a joke of mine.
i could see that he was too scared to question whether i was serious and it was hilarious to me but i am outwardly unaffected by hilarity, so it appears to others that i am in a default state of mind.

he said "how do you spell it ?" and i said "it is spelled how it sounds."

he said "sorry could you tell me your last name again"? and i told him, and i also told him how to spell it (i felt rather altruistic at that time (very lucky for him)) and he asked if i would mind if his boss rang me up later on to further "learn my requirements", and i said "yes" (because i had a further intention to provide myself with entertainment).

about 2 hours later, i got a call from a sales person who asked to speak to "wally", and i said "wally who ?"
he tried to pronounce the name that i told the sales boy was my surname, and i told him after the 6th syllable that he was wrong and he must have had the wrong number, and i hung up on him.

one can have lots of fun if one only tries. that was a riot of hilarity for my private experience.

I'm visiting family for Thanksgiving.

My oldest sister is finally going to spend some time with us although it's only two days before I leave.

Did a bunch of drawing today. Got a new art program that's working beautifully.

Put in some new songs for my iTouch.
