I am worried about my husband's low tolerance for jerks and how that will affect his ability to hold a job or get along in any other group setting. There is *always* a jerk. And you just have to shut your mouth and deal with it. Because if you call him out, *you're* going to be percieved as the one starting trouble.
Especially if said jerk is favored by the bosses for some unknown reason.

Your husband is similar to me in that respect, somewhat. I had learned how to stay employed for a while, by learning when it is best to complain versus when it is not and who is not trustworthy. But, it really stinks when you make a mistake and cause one or two of these favored jerks to plot against you. Then it is goodbye crappy job and hello financial dependency.
