My kindergarten teacher was so mean, she yanked my arm all the time to make me lay down on the mat like the other children. I never could do it even though I knew she was going to hurt my arm and nearly break my neck if I didn't for yanking me down so hard. She was a mean lady with white hair.

Frozen, bite sized, Three Musketeers bars are tasty treats.

I went "AWW" when I watched the part in Sweeney Todd when Mrs. Lovett sang "By The Sea" and daydreamed about getting married to Sweeney! :D

Sex sells, but not for me. Muscle men don't do a thing for me, and I'm not joining Weight Watchers, or Jenny Craig to be small and sexy, because I'm not an object.

^ ^ good on you, CR. I'm not joining Jenny Craig either. I don't believe in diets and I reckon milk the way it comes out of the cow (not watered down and called 'skim') is best.

I've been buying books with much delight. Stationery is part of my special interest (current). I found some wonderful books although they probably won't have enough pages they're divided into 5 with cardboard dividers that you can put handouts/looseleaf into and they have tear out pages and tear off corners for reminder, built in sticky notes and pen holder. Sounds complicated and gimmicky but somehow manages not to be.

also graph books, with periodic tables for reference in the front. They've got alternating graph and lined paper, which was always my gripe with graph books - it's fine to draw the graphs, but god almighty trying to write a neat paragraph, explanation or key next to it is just impossible on a fully graph book. You either have to write squashed or huge and neither looks good.

Stationery, you have improved and I am pleased, proud and comforted.

I remember how confused I was, as an aspy, back in the eighties
I knew my memory was shithouse, and nothing has changed,
but I was aware of a very real loss, so I marched into a newsagents,
determined to buy a diary, and write down my life experiences in it,
but I got overwhelmed by all the infinitely potential diaries avaliable...

(actually, that's a lie, I was hopelessly smitten with the girl I would have had to
approach at the teller, and chickened out!)
 :(

I wonder if she wonders about that strange guy that wandered in and read comics
and then wandered out without making eye contact or buying anything, lo, those many years ago?

I wonder if her life was fulfilled by the ...

As some of you may know, my family had to move to temporary housing in the fall of 2009. The reason was that my old house was demolished to make way for a new, more spacious manufactured house. My family moved into the
new house in November.

Yesterday, my mom hosted a housewarming party
for about half of her colleagues from her work.
{My mom's a teacher.}
It was hell trying to act relaxed and pleasant
for her colleagues. Some recognized me
and I came close to having a meltdown.
My sister yelled at me because she had a
notion I was being "rude" to one of my mom's
colleagues who I didn't recognize.

In about 45 minutes, House Tour 2.0
will commence for a family friend
and her husband. I hope HT 2.0
will be a little more smoother than
yesterday. I am at my neighborhood library
writing this and I should be back at my house preparing.

If a movie were made about my thoughts, it would be rated NC-17.

There is no way that I will ever be able to hit that high F. Therefore, I do not think that I shall ever sing the part of the Queen of the night.
