I read about a writer who imagined conversations with their characters over dinner. It's also fun to throw them in different situations to build them up, even if you don't ultimately keep those situations in your story.

I'm bored. Again.

And my body shouldn't waste energy and nutrients on reproductive cycles. Along with ever unhelpful hormonal activities in my brain.

I'm as harsh on my characters as I am on myself.

Why is there so much synecdoche in Death Note fanfic, especially that relating to the Wammy boys (although it does often crop up in LxLight stuff too)? It's hard to find one where Mello isn't referred to as the "blonde", Matt as the "redhead" or Near as the "albino". I don't get it.

I am healed from December but I was just thinking what's the deal, how come injuries don't heal as fast as they did when I was three decades younger, what's up with that?
