The female lead character in Alien Covenant is NOT Ellen Ripley's mom.

Did you know, water can kill you?!
They once held a competition called "Don't Wee For A Wii" where the contestants had to drink as much water as they could without going to the bathroom.

The woman who won it was trying to win the Wii for her kids but shortly after she won, she got a massive headache and went home to try to sleep it off.

They later found her dead in her bed. She had flooded all of her cells in her body and basically drowned herself internally.

I guess the moral of the story is too much of anything isn't good for you.

That reminds me of the early 90s Ecstasy scares in UK, they kept reporting people dying after taking E, turns out the deaths were from drinking too much water and organs failing as a result.
I still remember trying E around that time and being told to drink water, I told them that was dangerous but they all laughed at me, strange that we live in these bodies and don't ever learn the actual rules to keep them running.

I've never even seen ecstacy in my life and if I did, I sure wouldn't touch it but yes, I have heard those reports myself.

That reminds me of a report of a young girl who had a bad ticker and she drank one of those high caffeine drinks and had a heart attack and died. 8O

Like Leah Betts. She died of hyponatremia because she drank 7 litres of water in an hour and a half, without meeting the activity level for which lots of water + ecstasy is recommended.

If she'd been dancing the whole time, she might have been OK. I think so anyway, the details are a bit foggy.

We got to watch a brain being dissected when we learnt about that in school.

E is not dangerous, I'm not even sure it's possible to die or even have any long term effects from it.

I used to drop it on a Saturday night, we'd go out about 10 of us, walk around Glasgow out our heads and plant flowers and leave a gnome in people's gardens.

We even had a Bebo page, I know, pretty damn cool.
