All the storms are being pushed to the East coast resulting in the rest of the state only having light rain from the storm suppressing upper level clouds whoch prevent storms from forming near them. This is a lot like 2011 where the storms were instead lopsided to the west coast. In 2012 and 2013 there wasn't anything ruining the seabreeze collision in the center except the former also had 3 tropical storms dumping an additional 3 feet of rain on top of the very active wet season.
