I am in a better place mentally lately.

Confirmed my appointments for tomorrow, and made a dentist's appointment for the 3rd of January. Just snuck in there because all the dentists in Washington state will have their hands full to start 2014.

I was so happy for my team mate at work won a great big hamper full of chocolates, cookies and cakes.

I was also happy because I won a bottle of Bacardi breezer

Sausage, mash, peas and gravy have just had the desired affect on my tummy

It's relatively warm today - 34 degrees.

It was my graduation ceremony today I was bloody terrified at first as I thought I was going to make a complete fool of myself when I walked across the stage. Was my mortarboard hat going to fall off as I shook hands with the warden? (it was a real pain to keep it on straight) Was I going to trip over my robes on the stairs, or even worse, on the stage?

Luckily, it all went to plan, and there was a champagne and canapé reception afterwards, which was rather nice; met with some of my lecturers and mates from uni, threw my mortarboard up in the air, then went to a pub lunch with the family (I'm going to be hungover tomorrow... )

I had a photo shoot that I had to do at a resort hotel in Palm Springs on Monday. I had been pretty stressed about it even though architectural photography is my strong point. Anyway, the shoot went well. Today I sent proof sheets to the client who seems fairly happy with them. There is still a lot of Photoshop work to be done on them, but I think they are coming along well.

The fact that it is now less than a week till Christmas!

i have no idea what made me happy today. i was as happy as i usually am, but i can not identify a cause. happiness is just a state of being and not a reaction to fortuitous events (for me).

i feel very comfortable living in my body. when i relax, i feel like i am in heaven. my body melts into oblivion and i just hang snoozily suspended over what i am idly paying attention to. i am usually relaxed.

i do become frustrated with trivial things on occasions, and if i can find the "what made you unhappy today" thread, i will have more to say.

it is interesting that i have no real way of describing how i am happy and relaxed, but i can describe in excruciating detail why i am annoyed.

Two more weeks, and I'll be officially employed full time.

I actually got a B on a science quiz.
