Looking at old photographs of me as a child, it looked like the only time I genuinely smiled was when I was engaged in my interests. For example, flipping through a Pokemon magazine or playing my Gameboy Color. In the photographs of me with other people, my smile looks so fake.

^In old pictures of me, I am either the smiley, super happy girl, or the peculiar girl with the intense, soul-searching stare and the slightly neutral expression. Not much has changed.
