I feel very certain that I could never be a fairy, in this life or any other. I'm not sweet or innocent enough. Not even mischievous enough. The thought of myself as a fairy makes me laugh. I had a fairy character once though.

Ugh I hate mosquitoes. There's one in my room and it just bit me on the chin. I've already been bitten three other times over the past several days and it's not even June yet.

I'm one of those people whose blood is really tasty to mosquitoes - I get bitten a lot during the summer. Fortunately, I've never contracted West Nile virus from them.

(I don't know how common it is in other parts of the US/world, but here in Idaho our mosquitoes test positive for West Nile virus a lot.) Still better than the Zika virus, that's for sure...

Oh, and speaking of disease-carrying critters, over the past couple of years, the groundhogs here have been testing positive for bubonic plague. o_O

It's a banana blueberry cake/bread/thing, and other times we've made it, we usually heat it up and eat it with ice cream.
