When you have a bad sickness or death happening, you find out who your true friends are. I have only one (Mary) When a death or sickness is happening, it is not the time to leave the person going through it alone. Just asking them how they are doing lets them know you are thinking of them even when you are unable to be with them.

To me, cookies are soft, chewy baked goods, and biscuits are thinner, like ginger snaps...except when they are tea biscuits, in which case they are more like scones. Animal crackers are also cookies.
Now if only there was an emoji for twirling around in a circle and falling over like in cartoons. :lol:

saw the boss at the former high school. i was doing the ritual GF after school visit. (next year will be the last of such.)

he called me over, we talked for a bit. he asked what i was doing and didn't tell him the true reason for my visit.

cue today. he makes jokes about me being a peeping tom.

everytime i see that a girl i like has a job, i immediately stop thinking and fantasizing about her. because i don't work myself. so things will never work not even in my dreams.
