The other day I was reading a site about survivors of major burn injury when, unbeknowingly to me, the Grenfell incident was happening. I now feel oddly creeped out despite knowing it to be a coincidence.

That has happened to me so many times. I have read about celebrities that I hadn't heard from in a while and then I look them up and a few days later they die.

Last night, I did a check run for waking up at 0100 h to go to my first day of work tomorrow. I'm glad I did, because I apparently either slept through it or else shut it off without realizing. Let's hope two alarms and a calendar reminder will get the job done.
