Hi nurseangela, I don't really knit at all. I'm a guy. I only posted it because this is the blatant lie thread, so the second sentence of my previous post is not to be believed! I know about zero of knitting, but have many other skills.

I must admire the way my mom knits. I don't think my fine motor co-ordination would allow it. Neither can I manage sewing...

However, you and Olive Oil Mom are welcome to start a new thread on a relevant forum - in fact this forum (Random Discussion) is probably the best.

I'm not one of those that could knit though. I can paint, write articles and stories, play Scrabble and work out anagrams and cryptic crosswords, run and hike, but I can't knit, sew, ride a bicycle or manual car, tie my shoelaces effectively or do juggling.

I could only knit something for Waldo to play with.

But start a knitting and / or crochet thread by all means!

That's Grumpy Cat. Sometimes I look like her though when I get out of bed in the morning - circles under my eyes and a pissed off look!

Waldo is a black and white tuxedo, but his markings actually look like a bikini top and heart shaped panties, but he's all boy. :roll:

Ah, now that you mention it I seem to remember seeing something about Grumpy Cat some time back. I'd forgotten.

I hope Waldo has a less grumpy look than you or your avatar in the mornings!

Only if he doesn't get breakfast right away, and a morning snack and then lunch and then an after lunch snack and then his afternoon snack and then dinner and two other snacks after that along with a midnight snack and one at 3 am. And he's still not fat - imagine that!

Hi Sasquatch...

Nurse Angela, the enviro part refers to my love for the natural environment and nature, while the Zentinel part comes from Sentinel Peak, a favourite mountain in the Drakensberg Range of my country. I just changed the s to a z.

Maybe I'm OK with small talk about stuff which interests me, but I don't talk about the strange celebs people rave about (Kardashian etc), reality shows, fashion, stuff which popular culture decides is cool at this time, etc. as nothing bores me more than shallow gossip.
