anyone else living somewhere with hot weather right now?

It's very very hot here in manchester,it keeps setting off the TN [trigeminal neuralgia],got no fans in house, and biscuit has got it bad more than anyone with her bushy long haired coat, put a cushion in the freezer before and gave it to her and she flopped straight onto it but it quickly went hot.
put some ice cubes in her water.
anyone else doing stuff for hot pets?

It's supposed to be 24°C over here,

yet here I am in my room with the heater on, and under the covers.

But then again I'm a freak of nature

Right now I'm not really doing anything for my guinea pig, but since it's cooler downstairs (marble floor) and we made sure to give her a spot in the shade + lots of juicy vegetables from the fridge + fresh water, I'm not too worried about her.
Apart from that I don't want to handle her today as she's still a bit mad at me for taking her to the vet lol, figured I'd give her the space she needs to regain some trust and get over that experience.

But if it continues to get hotter, I'll give her a little plant spray shower.

It's been hot here in Portland lately in the 80's. I have been using the fan instead than the AC because I will not raise up the electric bill.
I only use the AC when I do work outs.

It's extremely hot here as well, continental temperatures in northern Sweden atm. Last night it was close to 20 degrees celcius in the night. We usually get these hot summer winds from Siberia up here, dunno if it's from there or from the south/mediterranean and Germany the weather is coming now.

You have my sympathy.

We've had a few warm days lately and already I'm suffering and pilgrimming to cold water. I hate warm weather. Unfortunately, to me warm is what most consider comfortable or close to comfortable. Comfortable to me is what most consider chilly.
I am oversensitive to all sorts of heat, be it weather, water or food.

It is painful to hear that Biscuit is suffering. The worst part about summer for me was seeing my dog suffer in the heat. Since he hated being wet I couldn't cool him down with cold water. He was afraid of the fan, too, and left if I tried to comfort him with it.

Cold water is good.
Shade and wind.
Metal with room temperature will often feel cool against the skin. Concrete can also have that effect. Water bottles from the fridge/freezer...
Maybe there is a cellar in your building? A deliciously chilly cellar...

It's gonna be like 85 today.

I hate it, I wish it could be like 30 everyday. I have the overhead fan going, keeping me cool. But man, I don't have the AC working in my car and it kills me.

As long as it's not too humid and the sun isn't up, I can actually stand the higher temperatures. I like walking around town on a warm night, but I hate doing it on a sunny day.

Last night it was really hot and I was even in my T-Shirt. It seems much cooler today though.

I knew this guy who cut his cat's hair down to a few millimeters. The cat looked horrible but very happy.

It's cloudy today. Joy. XD Usually I love the sun but it's been sooo crazy hot. I should go outside and enjoy the clouds while they last. D:

edit: fffff, the sun just came out. D:
TIME FOR SWIMMING!
Is anyone else's pool closed because of that new deadly-suction-filter law thing? XD;;;
Good thing we also have a river!

It's down to about 70 Fahrenheit but a couple days ago it was in the high 80's.

It's in the mid-80s here and very humid. I hate summer. Sunshine and humidity are two of the worst feelings in the world. Thank God for air conditioning - I've barely left my house this weekend. Oddly enough, my cat loves this weather even though she has long fur. She's been out most of the day.
