I hate guns except in games.

I love the cannon around which the A-10 ground attack plane is built. HOO-rah! It shoot depleted uranium rounds. Now that is a canon with an attitude!

Since we're showing off again...

Here's part of my collection, a few things have came and went since this was taken:

And here are some of the tools I use to improve my guns, or work on building my own:

Needless to say, I really like guns...

Yeah, I would to if my parents let us have guns in the house.

I enjoy handguns, as I'm right-handed and left-eye dominant (makes shooting long guns problematic, at best). I'm a bit old-fashioned as I prefer a good S&W K-Frame DA revolver to most anything else (though I wouldn't turn down a nice 1911A1). Here's a picture of mine:

And no, it's not for sale!

I have a remote fascination with sniper rifles. I think it's more than the gun itself, it's the act of sniping a distant unaware target. But I don't own a sniper rifle or intend to, and I limit my exploration to computer games.

Dox47 is that an HK G36???? Where did you get it? They aren't being imported as far as I know. Can I come live with you and stuff???? :D

I like modern firearms. SCAR, G36, new AR variants such as SR-25. How much does it suck that the civie P90 has a 16" barrel? I want the real deal, but not in this state. Oh well.

I haven't added to my collection lately, and won't be adding any for the foreseeable future,
but I did pick up a nice Mosin Nagant M91/59 at a pawn shop since I last posted in this thread.
The 91/59 is a factory conversion of an 1891/30 into an M38-like carbine, done in 1959. I paid
$100 for it, which was quite good considering it is one of the scarcer Mosin Nagant variants
and appeared to be either unfired or very well kept. That thing is one awesomely loud,
hard-kicking beast!

Sadly, the G36 in that photo is not mine, it belonged to a guy I worked for in Colorado. He was a licensed dealer of destructive devices, and the G36 was considered a "dealer sample" on a class 4 transfer for LE only  . Not to let you down too much, but to me the HK was just a neater looking AR, though the built in optical sight was kinda cool...
