I think they should make these a permanent product.

BTW, I've tried the Pepsi one today and I think must've gotten hyper from all that natural sugar in it.

My favorite thing about them is that the logos don't look ret*d, and "Mountain" still has all its letters intact.

Though now that I look closer, Pepsi Throwback still has the deformed ball logo on it =/

Every time I go to a Mexican Market and get the Mexican version of Coke, I'm reminded of the heyday of US Coke when the US product still used cane sugar. We haven't produced that flavor here since the spring of '85. The old stock of the real thing finally dried up in the fall of '85, and we were stuck with the inferior 'Coke Classic'. -- It's good to know that Mexico, and Mexican markets here in the US still take pride in producing and stocking 'The Real Thing' that the US company decided to stop producing years ago.

Pepsi Throwback is pretty good.

Maybe I'm just too young, but somehow it seems to me the seventies would taste like chest hair. Or something. >.<

God bless sugar cane (:
If you by chance see some soda called Barrilitos, try it, the apple one and the pineapple one are delicious, specially when eaten along with some tacos.
Also Sidral Aga is good stuff too.

Question, does the "throwback pepsi" have natural ingredients? Pepsi "retro" (as it was called in here) had "cola nut" and other stuff, and the label said "made with natural ingredients".

If Sidral Aga is the pink apple stuff, I've tried it, and hated it. I don't think I've seen the Barrilitos, but I like the Jarritos Limon as well as their Tamarind soda.

jarritos is also good stuff.
Sidral Aga is an apple soda, definitely not pink.
If you by any rare chance see Tonicol, try it too! ask a mexican where can you get stuff like that

If either Sidral Aga or Tonicol exist here in the US, I'm sure I'll find it at one of the local Mexican markets here.

Not a big fan of either. Which is a shame because I really wanted to like them.

I hate how they've rebranded Mountain Dew as the incredibly boneheaded "MTN DEW".

Both of those Throwback drinks are great, especially the Pepsi Throwback. I used to see them in both 12 packs of cans and 12 oz. bottles, but now I only see them in 12 oz. bottles.
