I just discovered it now, also the repair guy said it's in very bad conditions which increase the toxicity of it. I live in this house since 2014, I'm so afraid

You need to get a new water heater. That one is dangerous.

I don't own the house, so I can't change it – but we will ask for the landlord and if he doesn't agree, I think I'll move.
