My favorite is Billie Jean.

It's strong, powerful, and it tells a story.
In the first few bars, you can tell you're in for something good.

My favourite is the ballad,Stranger In Moscow. I think it relected the way Michael thought of
himself in the world - similar to the Wrong Planet analogy

you have a very musical being poopy lung stuffing.
i liked your video and i can see you are much more at home on a stringed instrument than a piano, but i was listening to how you were scoping the notes on the piano, and you chose complex iterations and i liked it.
your ukulele performance was very intuitive as to the correct notes. i would be interested to know how long it took you to get those notes correct on your stringed instrument.

i have also done some jackson covers recently because my girlfriend tammy had a crush on him.
i dare not post any links to them because i fear sony BMG who is always sending me warnings about my rights to play what i play when i cover other songs.

anyway, i liked very much your relaxed authority while you are playing the ukulele.

my favourite song from michael jackson is "ben". it is about a rat who is loved.
i can love a rat with all my heart.

I sing way better than I talk..and singing is how I learned to talk..but I wasn't using a very serious voice for the Michael Jackson songs...I guess I could if I tried..

It took no time to get the Ben chords down on the uke..but I had been playing it over and over and over again all evening..mostly for my own amusement. The uke is an incredibly easy instrument...and it is great for a person like me who is primarily a singer...
I am only even just barely functional on the piano if have been practicing for a while...I only attempted to play it on piano because I was in front of the piano, which is one of the few places where I can set the camera up at a decent angle..I am likely to go off and practice playing it on the piano for an hour or so..but that was my first attempt..
but um...
howyousay....
Ironicly, it was not that long ago that I was already planning on covering Ben for YouTube...but it was because my friend had given me a copy of "Willard"...I didn't do it because it was during my swamped/sidetracked phase where I wasn't making videos....
I did play it on repeat-loop while behind the bar at my venue for a while..

It is hard to love a rat..they have such short life spans.

anywhoo I am somewhat nuts about Crispin glover...

here are the other songs I played over and over last night while reluctantly occasionally handing a confused patron a beer....
Say Say Say is an easy tie with Ben, but apparently it is technically a Paul McCartney song..I played it here without practicing and I have not even seen the video since the 80's. I remeber that when I first saw the video..being just a little kid and unfamiliar w Michael Jackson, I thought he was a girl.

I admit some of his songs are cool but I feel if I listen to them, then I am supporting a child raper and it makes me sick so I don't listen to any of them. I found one of his albums in my drawer and gave it to good will.

It was never proven that he was a child molester...
Heard of the phrase "innocent until proven guilty?"

Is OJ innocent? He was found not guilty of killing his wife and then it was found out he did it but it was too late.

I have also heard of kids being raped by their dads or by their uncles but there wasn't enough evidence to prove they were doing it so the rapers were still let on the loose to keep hurting the child again and again and never get locked away while the mother still has to suffer and the child too. Those kind of movies always make me sick because I know it happens in real life and I always think the judge is stupid for not listening to the child's cries. I don't even watch those same movies again because they are too depressing even though it's all acting and they like to dramarize the real events by stretching it. I hate it when they do that because then it makes the story fake than real.

There is no option "I don't like his music". I've never cared for his music and consider him ludicrously overrated. :?

The Wikipedia article on the trial of Michael Jackson and the Wikipedia article on Michael Jackson state some things which strongly discredit his two accusers(and cite references):

Quote:
In August 1998 the Arvizo family was detained on a shoplifting charge at a J. C. Penney department store in West Covina, California. According to J. C. Penney, Gavin and Star Arvizo were sent out of the store by their father with an armload of stolen clothes, the family was detained and Janet started a "scuffle" with security officers. The shoplifting charge was dropped, but Janet filed a lawsuit for $3 million, saying that when she was detained she was "viciously beaten" by three security officers, one of whom was female.[8] The psychiatrist hired by J. C. Penney to evaluate Janet Arvizo found her to have rehearsed her children into supporting her story and to be both "delusional" and "depressed," although Janet's own doctor found her to be only the latter.[8] More than two years after the original alleged incident Janet added a further charge that one of the male officers had "sexually fondled" her breasts and pelvis area for "up to seven minutes".[8] Ultimately the department store settled out of court with the family for $137,000.[8]

...

His father, David Arvizo, visited Neverland several times in 2000, sometimes with the whole family, other times with just the children. After 2000, the accuser's parents were divorced, and his mother had custody over him and his older sister and younger brother. In 2002 David Arvizo pleaded no contest to spousal abuse and in 2003 pleaded no contest to child cruelty.[8] After having completed classes in parenting and anger management the father applied for having a three-year restraining order against him temporarily lifted, to allow him to see his three children.[8] He claimed he wanted to see for himself how his son's health was, and hoped to find out whether the boy and Jackson had sexual contact. He blamed his ex-wife for allowing the boy to sleep in the same room with Jackson, and also claimed that she has been in a mental hospital.
As of late 2004 David insists "my children are routinely rehearsed by their mother Janet to do or say whatever she wishes."[8]

Quote:
In a Granada Television documentary titled Living with Michael Jackson, the singer was seen holding hands and discussing sleeping arrangements with Gavin Arvizo, who would later accuse him of child sexual abuse.[121] In the same documentary Jackson was observed spending large amounts of money in an apparently frivolous manner, when he spent $6 million in a single store.[66] Shortly after the documentary aired, Jackson was charged with seven counts of child sexual abuse and two counts of administering an intoxicating agent in order to commit that felony; all charges regarded the same boy, Gavin Arvizo, who was under 14 at the time of the alleged crime.[121]

Jackson denied the sexual abuse allegations, saying that the sleepovers were in no way sexual in nature. Jackson's friend Elizabeth Taylor defended him on Larry King Live, saying that she had been there when they "were in the bed, watching television. There was nothing abnormal about it. There was no touchy-feely going on. We laughed like children and we watched a lot of Walt Disney. There was nothing odd about it."[122] During the investigation, Jackson's profile was examined by mental health professional Dr. Stan Katz; the doctor spent several hours with the accuser too. The assessment made by Katz was that Jackson had become a regressed 10-year-old and did not fit the profile of a pedophile.[123]

Quote:
Jackson was accused of child sexual abuse by a 13-year-old child named Jordan Chandler and his father Evan Chandler.[83] The friendship between Jackson and Evan Chandler broke down. Sometime afterwards, Evan Chandler was tape-recorded saying amongst other things, "If I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever...Michael's career will be over".[84] A year after they had met, under the influence of sodium amytal, a controversial sedative, Jordan Chandler told his father that Jackson had touched his penis.[85] Evan Chandler and Jackson, represented by their legal teams, then engaged in unsuccessful negotiations to resolve the issue in a financial settlement; the negotiations were initiated by Chandler but Jackson did make several counter offers. Jordan Chandler then told a psychiatrist and later police that he and Jackson had engaged in acts of kissing, masturbation and oral sex, as well as giving a detailed description of what he alleged were the singer's genitals.[86]

An official investigation began, with Jordan Chandler's mother adamant that there was no wrongdoing on Jackson's part. Neverland Ranch was searched; multiple children and family members denied that he was a pedophile.[86] Jackson's image took a further turn for the worse when his older sister La Toya Jackson accused him of being a pedophile, a statement she later retracted.[87] Jackson agreed to a 25-minute strip search, conducted at his ranch. The search was required to see if a description provided by Jordan Chandler was accurate. Doctors concluded that there were some strong similarities, but it was not a definitive match.[87] Jackson made an emotional public statement on the events; he proclaimed his innocence, criticized what he perceived as biased media coverage and told of his strip search.[83]

The first accuser's mother had denied that there was any wrongdoing on Michael Jackson's part, and the first child's father had been friends with Michael Jackson until something happened to stop that.

The second accuser's mother has been caught coaching her children to tell lies to police, and the second accuser's father said his children were "routinely rehearsed by their mother Janet to do or say whatever she wishes."

The psychologist who analyzed Michael Jackson during the trial concluded that Michael Jackson "had become a regressed 10-year-old and did not fit the profile of a pedophile."

And several children who had slept at Michael Jackson's house testified that he had never abused them.
