I just came across this profile on PlentyOfFish.com,

It's the profile of a gay guy,

Quote:
Yes im pale but i adore pale skin ...

My icon and influence is the goddess MARILYN MONROE ! !

To classify me as any Gender is a mistake im "Genderless"!

Im a creation of my own where the limits are endless.
I have a razor sharp tongue, which in all fairness will spice up oral haha.
I will grace with a smile or cut you into pieces with a glance.
Im Often indulging with my friends or shopping for my latest fix.

[The BOYS wanna see me - The GIRLS wanna be me!]

Im your walking distructive canvas with HOT PINK hair and a face like a 1950's doll.

"Let me spread your legs & slice your ego!"

Yes you can call me Arrogant, Self Obsessed, Drastic, Unreal because you probably wouldn't be far wrong but shhhhh ... dont tell noone.

Im going to make you turn your head and whisper.

I do not know you but yes you can love me.

I mean. If you ask me, when people like this inhabit "society", I think maybe Autistic people are better off out of it - they are better off ignoring people and their parents when they try to force them to "be a part" of society.

I mean... people like the above are just... vile. People who think they are great for just being evil.

Irony? There are god knows how many carbon copies of this type of "gay shallow queen b***h"... and yet this one claims he is a creation of his own where the limits are endless.

More irony? When you are this shallow and self-obsessed, you are extremely limited in creativity.

This is one of the types of people that make being "in society" unpleasant... so why do we bother? It annoys me and upsets me.

I am so glad I do not attend the gay scene or gay pride marches at all, because it is likely to be full of people like this. :(

I try to give everyone a chance, but there are just some people that I just don't know why they'd be worth knowing. What do you do with someone like this? Sex and shopping and pink hair? That's ALL? Ridiculous sex-obsessed airheads.. I agree with you, audioeyes, I just don't get it.

I don't understand people like that either, a fair few of whose advertisements I've seen on the internet. I get the impression adverts that are written full of twists and turns are designed to scare you and convince you the writer is very intelligent. Yet those kinds of ads are so often so aggressive, what are they trying to prove?

Well, I'm not sure that "society is to blame" in this case... the individual in question could hardly be considered a representative of mainstream society, since most "normal" people are not like that, nor would they be accepting of this person's "abnormality."

However, maybe part of this person's "narcissism" is due to the fact that narcissistic behavior in general is encouraged by society, especially in dating. For some weird reason, everyone is expected to act "cocky," and a perceived lack of confidence will usually get you rejected. This cultural attitude DOES make me want to avoid most of society (which I do anyway.)

And I've never understood why people become so obsessed with celebrities like Marilyn Monroe...

Oh I am not blaming society, but I do believe there are many types of unpleasant people in society, and this person is an example of one of the types of unpleasant people.

:)

Not all gay guys are like this. I believe the term for the person you quote is 'attention whore', and they come in all ages and genders. You get a lot of that sort of behaviour on the internet, it seems to be the 'in thing'.

Don't worry too much about it
