I have a small inflatable kiddy/wading pool for my 2 year-old daughter and I'm wondering if I should add chlorine to the water or just let her sit in plain old tap water.

Thanks.

There's no need to chlorinate a wading pool.

Tap water has chlorine in it anyway.

I would say that there's no need but it would be a good idea to wipe around the pool with disinfectant now and again. I've heard that two year old kids can be messy.

Kiddy pools are so small that most people just dump them out and refill them if they get algae or muck.
