Well, I have been doing some volunteer jobs at one of my town's YMCAs, which is rather good. Also, I'm going to Wilmington, North Carolina again (I've been there 6 years ago) on the week of Labor Day.

I wrapped up a Public Administration class last week, and started a philosophy class this week.

I also permanently lost contact with a friend. I hadn't heard from her in several months, and I asked a friend what was going on, and she got angry for letting my friend e-mail her, and even threatened legal action against me. Yet, she would never answer me directly, and she had blocked me from IM, when I know that I did nothing to hurt her or make her uncomfortable.

Good summer so-far, considering the local drought condition's.

Work is steady enough to keep scooby snacks stocked

Rivers and streams are cool enough for swimming

Met a new Aspie friend or two, looking good

Long term legal issues coming to an end

Housing prepaid thru the year

Just all the good stuff

I'm just saying

Has been and could be much worse, gratitude has it's rewards

Same. Not so much boring for me though -- it's just over 90% of my time involves solitary activities, most of which don't involve leaving my apartment (sometimes for days at a time). Guess I might have a bit of 'cabin fever' creeping up.

I should start seriously looking for a new job, I quit my old one over a month ago.

It was hot for like a week, and then it's just been kind of chilly since then (just barely jacket weather). So swimming is prettymuch a bad idea, and I predict another Indian Summer this year (which I guess isn't so bad, but it's always weird to have Autumn with no chill).

Hot. Like really really hot. Not the good "Jessica Alba is so" kind of hot. The drenched in sweat, choking in high humidity, dreading my power bill, "did I just get a third degree burn from my seat belt buckle", can't wait until fall kind of HOT.

1) HOT! Well over 110F on Friday and for parts of Saturday.

2) Stormy, lots of thunderstorms which is good because I like watching the lightning.

3) Lonely, nobody to share this with apart from some people at WP.

4) Interesting. A good trip to Germany three weeks ago and a fascinating encounter with a green eyed blonde yesterday which got my pulse racing.

5) Expensive. The sales tax here just went up from 20% to 25% and it's on everything from water to bus tickets.
