hi

how many of u sit around not doing anything all day? how many of u r apathetic? u CAN stay productive even if u get little done - vacuum, wash dishes, organize the bathroom, scrub the tub with baking soda, organize your bills so u pay them on time, figure out your budget, do your laundry and fold your clothes, take out the trash, organize your closet, get rid of stuff you don't use, do stretches, sit ups, take a walk outside, go to a meetup.com event like playing board games or walking meetup, go to a support group, PM someone on WP and make a friend :) or 15 like i did.. :).. cut your nails, get a hair cut (hairdressing schools offer free hair cuts), get your teeth cleaned at the dentist's or find a free dentist, make your bed, throw out socks that have holes in them, declutter your home, just keep working and not sitting. if you keep at it, after a couple of weeks, your house will be much nicer to be in. we ALL can work on it. set small goals and take little steps, just keep taking the steps, at your own level and don't get discouraged if you don't see results. the point is to keep working rather then sitting doing nothing.

Sorry, off-topic -- where did you get your avatar? I like avatars that do a sequence of movements.

not off topic - random :) any small animation will work, just copy and paste the location of the .jpg file into your WP avatar pic.

Hehe, don't worry, I know how to save them from the Web; I was just wondering whether yours came from some collection which has others like it that do other movements.

I'm apathetic to the degree that I don't want to do anything, but I ignore my apathy and do things for no particular reason. Today I made €50 for doing a few hours work, and I'm proud to say I worked harder than anyone else with me :)

I don't have time to clean my room or do chores much...I have a job.I don't do dishes...I eat out alot because Im too tired from work to cook.I usually come home from work, have a cold beer, a shower, walk to the pizza place nearby, get supper, then go on Wrong Planet and Free Dominion and relax.

You have the time to clean your room and you have the time to not eat out - buy a salad at the grocery store or make an easy chicken soup with potatoes and noodles or grains. We all can spend our time cleaning up and doing productive things at home, just keep working at it, the point is to keep working, not the results.

Hey Learning2Survive, it was a while ago since I saw you here. Hope everything is fine with you!

Im very productive all the time, its impossible to make me stop and do "nothing" I would be very restless if beeing forced to sit in front of the TV and or only read a book
Im keeping track of all the stuff you mention regularly so nothing is loaded up to the extreme, thats the best way so you wont come to the point when you HAVE to do it and its all a massive mess

I believe I might be an unusual aspie in this way as I understand many aspies have hard to organise themselves. My words to them is:

Make your aim to do SOMETHING useful EACH day, no matter how small or simple it might be. Just do something that make you feel you done something useful that day
