It has always been difficult for me to open myself to human animals, so my parents gave me anlmals to play and communicate with. I understand animals and insects better than homo erectus. They introduced me to all sorts of animals, even the exotic ones like snakes, spiders and tigers. I can honestly say that i really love animals :!: From the ones that appear in fairy tales to the smallest bug... i love them all. But i have favorites. The Tasmanian devil is a particular love of mine, and they are really horrible! The humming bird is elegant. The spider is fearsome. Cats are powerfull, gracefull. I could go on. I would like to know what your favorite animals are... real, thought up or pets. What makes them special to you?

I like a lot of different animals. Bats are really nice and so are many amphibians. I like most reptiles too. I like most types of birds. rats are fun too. bugs and insects are fun to watch and study. There are not many animals that i do not like.

I like most animals from dinosaurs, tigers, and sharks. Reptiles are some of my favorite animals they are fascinating and different. Animals are an interest I have also had and never get tired of, my other interests have changed over the years.

My cat and dogs are closer to me then any person. I feel uncomfortable when people touch me but when an animal touches me it does not bother me. Animals you know what you're getting into, they live on instinct they don't care about clothes, money, or other things that people do.

I like most animals but especially cats. I like how animals have different personalities, not just from species to species but animal to animal.

I love cats. I would love to have a pygmy marmoset, but I'm afraid my 4 cats would think it was a mouse.

I love animals. My favourite species is probably ats, but I also like penguins, polar bears, and seals. I like most arctic animals, in fact. :)

I love animals, especially dogs. I'm more than capable of sitting in a dog park for hours, just watching all the dogs. My own dog is closer to me than any of my other family members, and he and the 'family dog' (my family keeps two--one belongs to the family, one is mine and will be going with me when I leave my college dorm) sleep with me at night. I am fully responsible for both dogs' training and upkeep, and I relish my tasks--I love grooming them and exercising them, and I give them a large part of my time. The only thing I don't do by myself is clip their nails, since both of them are phobic and need to have two people do it.

I'm uncomfortable with humans most of the time, but I have never been uncomfortable with dogs. I do have issues with parrots and any bird larger than a duck, though, due to several painful encounters as a small child.

Ethamin: Psst--we're Homo sapiens sapiens, not Homo erectus!

I feel much closer to Chico than I feel to the people in my Life, right now. It's easy to get into arguements with some people and other people look down on Individuality. I've been hurt by a lot of people, over my Lifetime. I know that my Dog can't hurt me, the way that I've been hurt by Humans. I get along with House Pets, much better than I get along with people. Especially Dogs, because their love is unconditional. The unconditional love of a Dog is something that I need in a very callous World. Esepecially at this moment.

I love animals....mostly watching though, I just love how they are so darn simplistic...they just kind of do what they do, and nothing else really matters to them. Its very peaceful to just sit and watch nature. My family did have a dog when I was back home, and she was practically my best friend. I guess its that whole unconditional love thing. Animals don´t care who you are, just that you hang out with them sometimes. Thats something that works for me.
