Thank you Aimless. I ask because I am conducting a little research. I will PM you and tell you about the house.

OK, I'm curious :)
I can't respond until tomorrow though because I must go to bed. I have an early day tomorrow and a long one too.

It seems boring & uninteresting & mite be old time. It doesn't evoke emotions from me

Stark.
Unfinished.
Unwelcoming.
Tumbleweeds.

Though none of those is an actual emotion.

Thank you all so far for posting on this house. I am pleased with the answers---not that there is any one correct answer. It is of course opinionated. So there is no right or wrong. After I give more time to see others' responses, I will reveal the identity of the house---in a day or two.

The house looks like it was built in the Georgian (18th century) era. The architecture style brings me to that conclusion.

Is that your sweetie standing out front?!

Anyway, and if that is actually a house where people are residing, it looks to me like an old police station or something like that converted into a townhouse or possibly some apartments ... and it stirs nothing inside me.

Not much emotion. It seems like it's missing something. It's too tidy and there's no furniture or plants or anything whatsoever on any of the porch or balcony. Not particularly homey on the outside.

I think it's kinda appealing as I like old buildings like that. It reminds me of Hinkler House Museum. It would look better with a gabled roof on the second storey though.
