I wanted to write a song about autism, but I wouldn't know how to word it so that it didn't scream "Hey, I have autism. I guess I'm out of the closet now."

Just went there and listened to your song. :D
Yep, that's right.

Also watched Aspergers and ADD.
I love the irony of the disrupting your train of thought comment while a train horn is blowing in background!
I'd be running off to see the train

I made my "AS" videos public again...for now...

I would go crazy if I chased after every train that passed. I am on a major rail line. I only chase after the ones that are carrying tanks. When we had informal aspie meetings at my place, a lot of people would intermittently run off to look at the trains.

I will see if your request is feasible..

Since she lives by RR the thought of asking for his "Southern Pacific" from the Reactor album had briefly been entertained. http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/neilyoun ... cific.html

While on the railroad theme, Lone Justice has a song "Cotton Belt" : the real RR is a subsidiary of Southern Pacific.

I'm convinced he's on spectrum from the little I've read he fits the bill. Loved this line

I rode the Highball
I fired the Daylight
When I turned sixty-five
I couldn't see right.

lol

Watch this interview in Norway with Maria KcKee from Lone Justice, look at her eyes, face, movements, listen to her voice, and see if she might not be on the spectrum?

Song lyrics idea -
Sorry for the hijack
I just had to tell this thought
I'll let you have your thread back
once I've gotten past
the distraction that it brought

Yeah the hand movements..and the fact that he is sitting "indian style"...I once lost a job for sitting that when my boss wanted to have a serious discussion with me...Neil Young must be at least close to the spectrum...def. closer than Steven Stills.

It's funny you say that, because Stills is on the spectrum.

At least he suspects he is, in Autism the Musical. His son is diagnosed with AS.
