I shower after the kids fall asleep which is both in the morning but at night...lol. The two year old (another reason why i think she might be aspie) doesn't really like to go to bed before 2AM. Now because of that, I don't always get to shower. And, for chics, you don't want to wash your hair daily (depending on your hair type, but most usually you want every other day). Anyway, I am trying out the Melatonin, and that's making life easier. We are only on day 3 with it, and I give it to her at midnight because I don't want to totally rock her old schedule as opposed to weaning into a better one.
Before I had kids, I showered at night thanks to the Dial commercial ("Wash away the day with dial"). It really was more therapeutic at night to help me calm down and wash away that day. Plus I sleep better if I feel clean and with some shaved legs. But sometimes, if I had a hard time getting up, I'd shower in the morning too because it does help wake you up and get you moving. Also, before I had kids while in the military, I showered when the military told me to in Basic Training, and then at Tech School after PT, which was very early morning (late at night for some people), and then in the morning sometimes and at night sometimes at my first duty station because we'd PT in the morning only 3 times a week.
