I like my music LOUD, with lots of bass, I like to be able to feel the bass in my chest. Sometimes I like to turn it up real loud to feel like I am at a concert, right now I am listening to ac/dc, and it is so worth the hearing loss 8) (although I try to limit the amount of time I listen to it really loud)
In the car I like it turned up some, but not loud enough that it distracts me from driving

I crank it up once in a while, but most of the time it needs to be just loud enough to cover distracting background noises without being a distraction itself.

Music sounds much better to me when it's loud. :) As for what kind of music I like, I like any as long as it's good. ;)

generally any music either in the background, or on my walkman phone with headphones
I also like to have music on in the car when I'm driving, there's something about driving while listening to music but I cannot quite put my finger on it... hmmmm

there are rare occasions I'll listen to really bassy music similar to what idiotic boy racers have blasting out of their cars, though the difference with me and the boy racers is I won't turn it up so loud it rattles the car's door panels

Effectively not too loud

Well actually, music sounds better louder because the speakers are now moving due to higher power output. So yeah, little electronics/audio lesson. :D

I like loud music when the speakers sound warm, full, and clear. Anything else and I'm not interested as much.

Sometimes I like it loud (especially if I'm in a singing mood), and sometimes I get overstimulated and have to turn it down for a while.

I love bass as an instrument, especially if it's played with flourish, but I can't stand the whole "thump thump" thing, where the bass is so loud that you can't even hear the singing.

Or when other people have it really loud, and it's rap music or something where the bass just keeps going "bong bong bong" over and over and over and over and... :x

I like it really upbeat with a strong melody and a sort of heartbeat under-rhythm.. thing. I don't know what it's called.;;;

I like my music both ways:

loud, fast and angry.

loud, fast and sarcastic.

I like my music, through TUBES!

I don't have to pump my bass for them, they come in naturally..
