I like these cars solely on looks, because I know I will never drive anything that expensive ever.

If you look closely at the pic of the Silver Tatra, you'll notice a slot just to the rear of the rear door. --That slot was for Turning Semaphores, whiche were common with a lot of european cars before blinking turn signals became popular.

The Tatra T-77 as well as the above pictured T-87 had a rear mounted V-8 engine and were the basis of Ferdinand Porsche's automotive designs. Dr. Porsche essentially stole the design of a car being designed by Dr. Hans Ledwinka (Head Tatra Engineer responsible for the rear engine/streamlined bodied Tatra's) and turned that into the KdF Wagen/Volkswagen Beetle.

The German Wehrmacht also forbade officers from driving that Tatra's because there was a rash of Wehrmacht officers wrecking them and injuring and killing themselves on the Autobahn system that Hitler was building as well as other highways. The T-77 and T-87 were true high performance cars.

Immediately after WW2, They were used by OSS and British Military intelligence to track down and neutralise Nazi remainders. --If you were a German who got picked up by Allies riding in a Tatra immediatley post-war, chances were high that other Germans would find your body in a forest or on the side of a road with a bullet in your head.
