I remember I was never too bored prior to coming to university because my parents were always at home with me and I would follow my parents to go out and eat etc...

Anyone always "hung out" with their parents to kill time?

I still do. :) Living in their house at the mo with baby and husband, and my mom just retired. :) It's lovely company. I just wish dad was retired too. :p I love both of them!

My parents are coming out to visit this Christmas. I am so excited to be with them.

I love being with my parents. I try to visit them, once a week.

Growing up, I had a great interest in my father's activities. He is very learned, a highly skilled carpenter and also dabbles in art projects. I would spend hours just watching him work.

His focus the last several years, however has shifted to tasks/hobbies of which I have no interest and so I spend little time with him.

My mom and I grew closer after I moved out, we talk almost daily.

I wish I could hang out with my dad again just like what we are doing 7 years ago.
