Why is this music so haunting and spooky like? It's more suited to a Halloween tune than a Christmas one.

It's probably because it's a story about toys that come to life,
apart from the fact that it's just the most Beautiful, beautiful piece of music that was ever written! :heart:

His sister died just before he was commissioned to compose it,
so that's why it is so melancholy. :(

I have been listening to it all morning while I mucked around on WP.

Warm a time as christmas is, it's the celebration of a zombie-enabled prophet's birth, overlayed onto what was originally a celebration of the longest, darkest day of the year.

Although personally I find this fairly mischievous but kind of serene music quite suited to fairies.
