Though not good for traffic, as weird signs hardly are, some things will still remain funny. Such as when a lit road sign was programmed to display "Zombie Attack! Evacuate!" http://epicwinftw.com/2010/01/01/what-a ... -the-sign/

One idea for such a sign, though this will not be done of course, is,

"Orbital Bombardment: Next 50 miles. Drive safely."

Does anyone have other ideas for signs that would cause people to wonder?

How about "Don't Even Think About Parking Here!"

There actually is a 'don't even think about parking here' sign; it's in Manhattan, in front of the UN, and I've seen it with a Mark 1 eyeball (2, actually)

Someone actually wrote this on a stop sign in my neighborhood. http://www.deepjiveinterests.com/wp-con ... r-time.jpg It's not the same sign, just an example of the above

How about "Warning : Global Warming for the next hundred years!"

Followed by "Welcome to the next Ice Age : Florida welcomes you back!"

I wish I could draw. I would love to make fake signs and put them up at night.

A sign showing a stick figure pointing a gun at another stick figure signifying a "mugging area"

How about a sign showing two stick figures copulating with a line drawn across it? I would put that one on the beach.

Another beach sign would be one that just says "It is an offense to hang towels on this sign"

Yesterday I was in a hospital and a door had a sign saying "This door is alarmed between 12pm and 6am.
My fingers were itching to pull out a texta and write "then increase it's medication"

Around where I live are signs that say "Injured wildlife call this number"
Yeah, right. Like some roadstruck kangaroo is going to pull a mobile phone out of it's pouch.

it would be good to have more warnings on signs for drop bears, they just look too simular to normal Koalas.

The sign already exists: "DO NOT BACK UP - SEVERE TIRE DAMAGE".

Where I would like to see it posted is next to the fast lane of an interstate freeway.

That might be a reference to George H.W. Bush, who actually worked for the CIA in the 70s.

Darn it Asp-Z beat me to it with the Welsh sign! Um.. lets see... Funny sign... I like the idea of a sign on the side of the motorway/freeway that says 'Stop reading this sign and watch the damned road!' funny? :?

I first saw such a sign on the opening credits of the TV show "Amen".
