Specifically when was the last time that you actually typed "www." into your browser when trying to go to a website?

As for me I gotta say it was at the most recent just before I got Firefox which was quite a few years ago. I do know that I never do it now even when going to a site I know by heart b/c Firefox just has them pop up in suggestions when I put in parts of the site name for instance "wrong" will come up with wrongplanet right away. And when I'm going to a site that was say, copied from a magazine I'll leave out the "www." b/c I don't even need it anymore.

Last week.

irs.gov does not work. www.irs.gov does.

Governments always seem to be a bit behind the times.

If I have to type a web address, I put the www prefix in. I haven't done it yet today because I've only followed shortcuts.
