I wanted to make something to both show appreciation and razz a little bit

She always comes in to my posts with these really witty re-titlings. I love it. I wish I was as quick-witted.

Yeah, she's great to have around. One of the many memorably unique thinkers around here.

I hope she'll post in this thread so I can see her avatar and decide whether or not I voted accurately.

Coming to a head topic

So this is what goes on in my absence!!

It is a tam, or beret (en Francais). Like a benie. I usually wear a hat similar to it. Keeps my feet warm.

Oh, now that I see it again, I recall that I always assumed it was hair done up in a messy Bohemian-style bun.

Funny topic!

Yeah Im a great fan of sartresue too
I have always interpret it as hair so I ticked the second option.

And I have always wondered whats up with the ears of ViperaAspis' avatar cat. Make a poll thread about that?

Use the last two words of a post to make another post topic

About that! About that kitty with the interesting ears!

(Thanks for all the cute comments. I guess I never thought much about my rather abstractly drawn avatar. I am assuming that people can read the caption.)

IMO she has the bestest most insightful things to say especially in the PPR forum.

Her witticism is short and sweet. 8)

All this flattery is going to my abstractly drawn head topic

And MissContrue posted the same message about it TWICE. :P
I had better get over to PPR and see what is happening.

There's a strong showing for the Brain-Eating Giant Octopus. Perhaps this indicates a latent fear in our collective psyche?

The size of my brain topic

This may well mean that my brain is very large and self replicating. The octopus can never get at all of my gray matter.

Hey, Vipera! Where are you!!

For some odd reason, I thought that you always had a banana skin on your avatar's head
And yes, her awesome witty topic thing above which some of them have somehow made me laugh a few times.

Oh, goodness, I can't go into THAT tale (tail?). It involves too much catnip and a very indiscreet (but delectable) "previously-foil-wrapped" chicken. Quite scandalous, or so I'm told. Memory is a bit foggy from the 'nip...

But at least I grok the picture in its completeness now. In fact, while googling "How do you become a philosopher" in Google image search, I could only come up with this result. Incriminating evidence of your own past indiscretions perhaps? Now for all to see:
