Thank you, CockneyRebel! In my country, apart from a birthday also a name day is celebrated (mine falls on 29th May). I don't remember this but in the communistic times name days used to be celebrated much more than birthdays here.

Thank you all You know, today, one day after my birthday, I got a tardy "present" - I met my father for the very first time in my life 
It was in court where he, together with his fat, sneaky lawyer was doing his best to evade paying alimony to me which was illegal as I'm still studying (it's the last year) 
He lost this case, of course I couldn't help but came up with "Now you have to pay, daddy" said in the most sneering voice when we were coming out of the building Imagine: in a private conversation between him and my mother and me when we came out, this moron suggested I even may be not his daughter I told him I hoped he wouldn't ever want ME to pay him an alimony - I truly hope that was this moment in the life of the liar of daddy dearest when he decided to be honest because he stated he would never want any money from me 
because he's already "closer than further" (closer to death, in this sense - it doesn't mean he's dying or anything, my father meant that he wasn't young any more - he'll turn 58 on July 31st). In other words we won and dear old dad will additionally have to pay me the money he wasn't paying me for a long time A lot of money
