I don't like the thoughts associated with `people`...

Whenever I think of the word `people` I imagine a crowd of people all with a common goal, or that Nokia advert with the woman saying `oh my god the cat's wearing my bikini` (Don't ask why... I have no idea) I always think of a large group of people anyway.... often with them doing fairly primitive things, just with modern paint on (Metaphoricly obviously...)
Such as every one all singing together... that's a particular hate... it all seems dirty... and primitive to me.... I know that it isn't, it just seems like it is...When I think person, I imagine a person as a single entity, they can be with others, but not in the sing song, all happy clappy way... anyone else think this?

Yes. "People" brings to mind the picture of a large group I am not among standing on a hillside singing the old "Buy the world a Coke" commercial. In contrast, "person" brings to mind a more pleasurable picture.

What it brings to my mind, is the old Nintendo 64 commercial, where kids are wearing either red, green, blue or yellow, and they form an N and start chanting, "64...64...64!" I don't like it, very much.
